Working Through Challenging Times - A Word from our Interim Head of Centre, Lorraine Healy
Here is how the staff team at St Wilfrid's Centre have continued to work during these unprecedented times
Our Welfare Team have been fantastic in regularly contacting our 220 current clients, checking on how they are and if they need anything. This vital contact has produced some great feedback, as the clients are very grateful.
Emergency food parcels have been prepared. A rota has been created to enable the minimum number of staff to attend and work safely. Procedures of safe working have been developed.
Just this week we have had 12 clients attend the Centre for emergency help and the team have been available to answer a multitude of telephone queries as we continue our support for rough sleepers and vulnerable people in crisis.
We are working with the agencies around Sheffield including the Archer Project and Framework to provide essential services to extremely vulnerable people in Sheffield.
