Celebrating Volunteers - Thank you!

As part of Volunteers' Week we held a ‘Long Service Awards’ Ceremony at the Centre in recognition of our wonderful volunteers who have achieved 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of volunteering with St Wilfrid's Centre.

The event attended by over 60 people included volunteers, clients, staff and guests who were invited to attend the presentation where certificates and a small memoration gift were presented to the long service volunteers by the Centre clients - followed by tea and celebration cake!

As not all volunteers were able to attend, further mini presentations will be made over the next few weeks when the volunteers attend their normal shifts.

We would like to thank all of our 144 volunteers (not just the ones who were receiving awards), who have contributed a staggering 14,000 hours of their time to the Centre in the last twelve months alone.
