Thank you to all who supported our Bishop's Walk 2020

Thank you to all who supported our 2020 Bishop’s Walk, which finally took place on Monday 12th October.

With restrictions in place we were only allowed 6 people to gather, so we had to be very careful with our plans.

Bishop Ralph Heskett came out to the Holy Spirit parish in Dronfield to send the walkers on their way. Ruth, our Head of Centre led a small group a route which, for a change did not pass through the Peak District, but meandered the streets of Sheffield, passing various places of worship along the way and finished at the Cathedral of St Marie in the City Centre.

As the walk, significantly, took place on St Wilfrid’s Feast Day, we thought it appropriate to take a route which took St Wilfrid’s Bishop Walkers past St Wilfrid’s Catholic Primary School. This is where Wilfrid Bear joined the group briefly to give the children a wave.

The walk assisted our Head of Centre, who has been in post since July, to become acquainted with some our many supporters in Sheffield.
