A St Wilfrid's Runner makes the 'Top Ten' fastest in the London Landmarks Half Marathon
Well done to the team of nine St Wilfrid’s Runners that took part in the inaugural London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday 25th March.
We’re so proud of each and every one of them but a particular a special mention goes to Michael Mohun who came in the TOP TEN of runners out of 10,000 participants and ran a personal best coming in at 1 hour and 18 minutes.
Michael says ' I’ve never come in the top ten of a race of that size before, so I’m pretty happy but more importantly I was proud to wear the St Wilf’s shirt and promote the cause! The St Wilfrid’s supporters were a big boost.’
Our intrepid runners were part of 10,000 runners that took part in a route that encompassed some of London’s most iconic buildings including Nelson’s Column, the London Eye, The Tower of London and finishing near Downing Street.
We’re so proud of all of our runners: Bridget, Vivienne, Patrick, Tasneem, Chris, Lucy, Michael, Joss and Lee who collectively have raised over £6,000. Thank you.
