Come and join us for an evening programme of unaccompanied choral music brought to us by Ferrero Voce Choir who are performing for the first time in the stunning surroundings of St Marie’s Cathedral to help raise money for St Wilfrid’s Centre.
For this concert the singers have put together a feast of wonderful unaccompanied music spanning 500 years of choral tradition and from all over the world; everything from Byrd to Billy Joel.
A little about the choir…..
The members of Ferrero Voce are all friends of Sheffield based Honey Smith, and were brought together last year to perform a memorial concert for her very dear friend, Tamsin Cassells.
The concert was a collaboration between the choir and Tamsin’s friends and family, including her brother in law, the acclaimed pianist Peter Hill, who also performed in the concert. Peter was kind enough to comment on the high quality of the choir and the concert.
It was clear to the choir that Tamsin’s concert, under Simon Hunt’s exceptional direction, had given birth to quite a special ensemble who perform to a very high standard.
Please join us and come and hear this stunning choir perform for 'one night only' in the beautiful surrounds of St Marie's Cathedral.
Tickets available in advance online from here or on the day at the door.
